    There Is A Free Mediterranean Film Festival Next Week In Batroun, Lebanon

    The Batroun Mediterranean Film Festival (BMFF) is taking place from Thursday, September 1st, until Monday, September 4, 2022, starting at 08:00 pm.

    Organized yearly in September, the BMFF chooses a wide selection of short films consisting of national and international works from 21 Mediterranean countries.

    The screenings will take place in an open-air venue at Batroun’s Diaspora Village, in a setting that welcomes both local audiences along with international guests.

    Here is the program:

    Thursday, September 1 – Opening Ceremony:

    Friday, September 2:

    Monday, September 4 – Closing Night:

    • Award distribution
    • special screening – Death of a Virgin and the Sin of Not Living (George Peter Barbari)
