The most joyful time of the year has arrived and, despite the hardships the country is under, Lebanese are doing everything not to miss it.
After all, Christmas is a celebration of hope for salvation, and, this year, it’s all that the people in Lebanon are hanging on to and a lot of efforts and preparations have been dedicated to making it happen.
Here is a list of the Christmas events that are happening this month in Lebanon:
#1 Christmas Market at The Village Dbayeh
Starting on December 17th to 19th from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm in Dbayeh.
There will be exhibitions, food, and drink. Plus, it is family and kids friendly

#2 Batroun Capitale de Noel – Christmas Market
Don’t miss out on this Christmas event in Batroun souks.
Weekdays (Monday to Thursday) from 4:00 pm till 11:00 pm, starting December 20th to 30th.
Every weekend (Friday to Sunday) from 12:00 am till 12:00 pm, until January 2nd, 2022.
There will be expos, animation and concerts, all for free.
#3 Christmas Market – Snow Hills Hotel Faqra
What is better than celebrating Christmas events while surrounded by snow?
Check this event at Snow Hills Hotel in Faqra, Kfardebian. It’s happening on the upcoming weekends, December 18th and 19th, and December 25th and 26th; from 11:00 am- 4:00 pm.

#4 Noel Pour Elle – Le Bazar at Saifi Village
A Christmas event for a humanitarian cause, Le Bazar of Noel Pour Elle at Saifi Village in Beirut is a fun event where you can buy Christmas presents, listen to good music, have fun, and all while supporting women suffering from Breast Cancer.
This event occurs this weekend December 18-19 from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
#5 Christmas Fair – D Beirut
An event celebrating Lebanese heritage, art, and history, with daily concerts, and exhibitions of artisans, designers, farmers, and more, starting December 18th to 23rd, from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at D Beirut Karantina.
Concerts start at 8:30 pm, and tickets must be booked by contacting 03483954.
#6 A Christmas Fair – Bossa Nova Beirut Hotel
Visit this fair starting this weekend December 18 – 19 from 11:00 am-9:00 pm, and until next Wednesday, December 22nd, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Bossa Nova Beirut Hotel.
The event is gathering over 60 designers and creative entrepreneurs, and you can get to enjoy shopping, food, and activities.
This is also an opportunity to help people in need by donating your unwanted clothes, toys, and household items. You can drop them off at the event for the organizers to match them with NGOs caring for the most vulnerable.

#7 Christmas Ball by DJ Rodge
Nothing is better than to be celebrating Christmas with your friends while enjoying good music. The Christmas Ball by Rodge will be taking place at The Dbayeh Village on December 25th, 2021. RSVP at one of your favorite pubs in The Dbayeh Village.
#8 Magic Everywhere – Christmas Fair – Restos Saint-Nicolas Achrafieh

Head to Gouraud Street in Gemmayze for this event happening this weekend (December 18-19) from 12:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Have fun with your kids and support the local business. All the proceeds will go to charitable causes.
There will be all-day kids’ activities, Christmas lights, and music, a festive food court, and local exhibitors selling all kinds of gifts and products.
#10 Pot Luck Christmas Lunch
The annual Christmas event of the House of Wisdom Center in Beirut is taking place on Sunday, December 19th from 2:30 pm until 10:00 pm. You can attend this event with your family to enjoy sharing a happy meal. There will be exhibitions and activities for kids.

#11 The Christmas market – Sassine Square
The Ashrafieh Christmas market in Sassine Square will be held until January 6th, 2022. Enjoy the Christmas spirit while also shopping local and boosting the country’s economy.
#12 Christmas Show
Coming Thursday, December 16th, don’t miss the Christmas Show at 4 pm in Sassine Square with Ghinwa and the Rene Moawad Foundation.
#13 The solidarity Christmas Village
This event is promising to bring Beirut back to life by spreading joy among our community to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
It will be held in BASE CAMP behind Mar Michael Church starting December 15th and until December 19th, from 4 to 10 PM. Pre-register here.
#14 Beirutetna Christmas Market
The Beirut Souks will continue to vibrate with Christmas Spirit until December 30th with plenty of exhibitors, music, delicious food, and local products.
There are also vintage clothes and upcycled furniture exhibited for sale by the atelier of the NGO Arc-En-Ciel and others.
#15 Christmas Show at Cascada Mall
A lot of activities and entertainment have started at the Cascada Mall in Bekaa, including an upcoming major Christmas event by Megaplay on December 25 and 26.
