Situated in the Jezzine District, Bkassine is a breathtaking green village nestled in one of Lebanon’s and the region’s most beautiful pine forests.

Officially one of the best tourist villages in the world, the village of Bkassine offers its visitor a mesmerizing view of the serene nature of Jezzine.

This Lebanese village is known for its authentic traditional charm, represented by its small souk, red-tiled houses, narrow streets, and lovely main square.

When visiting Bkassine, you can enjoy a religious tour and discover the Saydet el Najat church, built in the 1850s, and the Saint Takla church.

This village is also famous for its old stone bridges, water mills, olive presses and oil production, an impressive green forest, and a panoramic view over the Niha mountain.

People can also have fun all seasons long, as they can experience the Mar Takla summer festival in September, hike along its pine forest and between Bkassine and Jezzine, and enjoy its snowy atmosphere during the winter season, along with many other activities.
