    Many events are happening this weekend in Lebanon that will give you and your loved ones the chance to have a nice summer “getaway.”

    From hiking, wine tasting, and even a beach camp, here are fun events taking place this weekend.

    Enjoy the Farmers’ Market at Mir Amin Palace Hotel – Beiteddine

    For its second edition, the Mir Amin Palace Hotel, in collaboration with Le Passport Culinaire, is hosting a sustainable farmers’ market “de la fourche à la fourchette,” where people will get the chance to see live cooking shows and taste regional specialties.

    The event will take place on Friday, August 5, starting at 6:00 pm. A bus ride will also be available.

    The event includes a two-day pool and beach access, along with camping, entertainment, water activities, food trucks, and DJ concerts.

    The event will start with a visit to Domaine Des Tourelles winery, where participants will get to taste wine and arak, along with a tour of Château Nakad, and Château Heritage.

    Join the cleanup initiative of the Qadisha Valley river

    SWIM Lebanon and the University of Balamand (UOB) are organizing a cleanup of the Qadisha Valley on Saturday, August 6th, and everyone is welcome to volunteer.

    The river runs through the Holy Valley between Bsharri and the Cedars of God, with breathtaking nature all around.

    The volunteers will meet at Saint George garden in Bcharri at 10 AM to then proceed to the Qadisha river. An environmental awareness session will be provided, followed by the cleanup of the river and then a tour of the Qadisha grotto.

    No application is required. You just have to show up at the meeting point. For more information, contact: 70 561 569.
