This weekend can be filled with fun, as the 2nd edition of the Gourmet Market is re-launching at Rachid Karami International Fair, Tripoli.
Held between Saturday, June 25, and Sunday, June 26, the gourmet market will host a food tasting competition and a marketplace featuring dozens of local businesses that will display their products in the Food & Beverage industry.
The main objective behind Gourmet Market 2 (Relaunch) is to support local businesses in Tripoli and Northern Lebanon and give them all the opportunity to open their horizons and generate innovative products.
The event will include a marketplace and a Competition Segment (The Taste Off), where all the attendees will be offered a chance to taste and rate the products on the first day (June 25).
On the second day (June 26), the top 10 ranking businesses will move to the final phase of the competition, where their products will be assessed by expert judges and international chefs, to win a grand prize.
The Gourmet Market 2 (Relaunch) will also host free hands-on food workshops and talks on traditional food packaging and other topics.
