    Lebanon is a magical winter wonderland during the cold season, favoring scenic views and amazing snow on its mountains, as well as snow sports and activities.

    Its ski resorts have been a destination to many during this season and not only to the locals who come to experience the glorious snowy heights of Lebanon during winter.

    All ski resorts in Lebanon are well equipped with slopes to host skiers, as well as other snow activities.

    Restaurants, hotels, motels, and guesthouses are also available in these areas for those wishing to enjoy a day or a weekend getting the best out of Lebanon’s winters.

    Al Arz (The Cedars)

    Located at an altitude of 2,000m, Al Arz in northern Lebanon is one of the top destinations for skiers with its majestic mountains covered in snow until the spring.

    The ski slopes are normally open from 8:00 AM till 3:30 PM and could extend beyond that time on weekends when the weather and snow conditions are good.

    Resorts, hotels, motels, guesthouses, and restaurants are available in the area, and some with Wi-Fi connections.

    Faqra is situated at an altitude of 1,550m where the capital Beirut can be seen with its full glory.

    The ski slopes open from 8:00 AM till 3:30 PM on weekdays and till 4:00 PM on weekends and during holidays.

    In case of bad snow conditions in Faqra, you can move to ski up on the Mzaar slopes, like many skiers do, since located at higher altitudes.

    Faqra has also remarkable touristic destinations ranging from the Roman ruins of the Temple of Faqra to Jisr Al Hajar (the Stone Bridge), a 38-meter arch traversing Nahr El Laban.

    During weekdays, Laqlouq ski slopes operate from 8:00 AM till 3:30 PM and continue till 4:00 PM on weekends and holidays.

    A popular ski destination in Lebanon with 42 slopes, Mzar Kfardebian is probably one of the busiest ski areas in the country. It favors great snow all winter, whatever the weather conditions, due to its high altitudes.

    The ski resort diverges into 3 inter-connected domains: Refuge, Jonction, and the newest extension Wardeh.

    The slopes are open from 8:00 AM till 3:30 PM during weekdays and 4:00 PM during weekends and holidays.

    The slopes operate from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM during weekdays and 4:00 PM during weekends and holidays.

    The plateau of Bakish is a popular destination to enjoy with your friends. And if you don’t like skiing, you can also enjoy its slopes snowshoeing.
