More and more Lebanese designers have been rocking the international fashion scene and breaking into Hollywood more often than before. Some of these designers are incredibly famous, while others are stars in the making.
However, when it comes to shoe design in Lebanon, only a few names come forward, and one of those most famous among these few that we’ve been recently hearing about is Andrea Wazen.
Andrea Wazen is a passionate Lebanese shoe designer who started designing at a young age. Soon enough, her designs attracted the attention and went popping up into the limelight.
Recently, her designs have taken Hollywood by storm, and they seem to have become the latest trend-to-wear among the elite.

#1 Olivia Culpo:
Former Miss USA, American model, and actress Olivia Culpo was recently spotted wearing a pair of PVC sandals by Andrea Wazen while out for dinner in Los Angeles.
#2 Jennifer Lopez:
The famous American artist Jennifer Lopez has chosen to rock her “It’s My Party Tour” by wearing different pieces from our Lebanese designers. In her full neon-look, JLO wore thigh-high boots by Andrea Wazen to match her bright neon bodysuit by the Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran.
In that regard, Andrea Wazen shared a post on her Instagram of Jennifer Lopez wearing her boots, captioning it: “I never imagined this day would come!! I remember dancing with my sisters to all her songs growing up..(still do now)! And now she’s dancing on stage in MY BOOTS!!! Feeling so blessed.”
#3 Ashley Graham:
The American model Ashley Graham chose to complete her look while attending the Council of Fashion Designers of America awards by wearing PVC sandals from our Lebanese shoe designer Wazen
#4 Emily Ratajkowski:
At the 12th Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, the American model and actress Emily Ratajkowski was spotted wearing the camel Gloria Mule heels from Andrea Wazen.
Andrea went on sharing some photos of Emily on her Instagram, captioning: “When your ultimate girl crush wears your shoes.”
In an interview with Savoir Flair, a digital women’s fashion magazine, Andrea Wazen was asked if there is any celebrity or personality she would like to see wearing a pair of shoes she has designed.
Andrea picked Amal Clooney. She said, “She is Lebanese, a working woman, successful, and the perfect figure to represent Middle Eastern women.” We certainly agree with her!
Andrea Wazen, who was passionate about sketching and designing since her childhood, launched her first debut collection and flagship store in Beirut in November 2013.
Rightfully so, Andrea will be taking her well-deserved place among the international celebrities at the largest Middle East’s Beauty and Fashion Event of the year, this summer in Beirut.
