Paul Kaloustian received a bachelor in architecture from ALBA (Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts) in Beirut, Lebanon. He also received a masters from Harvard School Of Design in 2001.

The award-winning architect had lately designed the ‘Midori’ residential complex in Badaro, Beirut.

The design was primarily driven by a desire to create a ‘tree building’ facing Horsh Beirut and Beirut’s Hippodrome (one of the very few forested areas in Beirut).

The scheme borrows many aspects of the local Mediterranean lifestyle and architecture, with spaces bathed with natural light, sunbreakers and vegetation.

Imagined as a vertical garden, a generous variety of vegetation and trees are positioned throughout the residential units.

The building offers a comfortable and livable environment with diverse spatial configurations, orientations and sizes ranging from small units with one bedroom to larger units with 3 bedrooms.

Aside from the nearby facilities like schools, hospitals, museums and so on, facilities like a drive-through entrance, a kids playground as well as a gym are offered within the building. This is on top of the fact that you can enjoy the unique landscape and water feature.

The built-up area is approximately 5400 square meters and the project is expected to be completed in 2019!
