The Red Sea International Film Festival in Jeddah kicked off on Thursday, marking the beginning of the 10 days of cinematic celebration, as well as showcasing celebrities donning gorgeous attire created by Lebanese designers.
Various actresses and models walked the red carpet wearing designs from Zuhair Murad. Lebanese actress Nadine Nassib Njeim wore a stunning one-shoulder dusty brown satin dress, complete with a cape from Murad’s Spring-Summer 2022 collection.
Lebanese journalist and TV presenter Raya Abirached rocked a light cady kaftan with gold brooch beading and crystals from Murad’s 2023 Resort collection at the opening ceremony which she co-hosted.
Lebanese-Australian model Jessica Kahawaty also took a liking to Murad’s breathtaking Resort collection and wore a marvelous blue fitted dress with lined beading, consisting of cape-like sleeves.
Saudi Arabian filmmaker and actress Fatima Al Banawi wore a blanc de blanc tailored suit designed by Beirut-based fashion designer Rami Kadi.
Eleonora Brunacci Di Vaio attended the Red Sea festival with her husband Mariano Di Vaio. She was dressed in a sparkling silver cape gown with a floral pattern embroidered in soft white pearls and beads by Rami Kadi.
Indian actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja appeared on the red carpet also wearing a Rami Kadi design. A stunning custom ruby red structured dress with a stunning bell-sleeved Duchesse cape made of silk satin.
Designs from Nicolas Jebran’s Fall-Winter 2022-2023 collection also appeared on the red carpet, with Priyanka Chopra donning a dazzling yellow satin gown.
