On Wednesday, a video was shared on social media showing a sharp dispute in the public hospital of Bint Jbeil between a nurse demanding her rights and a man alleged to be the director-general of the hospital.
The dispute soon turned into physical aggressiveness as the nurse is seen forcefully pushed several times and the man raising a baton in a gesture of threat.
As a result, those concerned were summoned to clarify the truth.
On Thursday, the media office of the Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement that the specialized authorities in the ministry listened to those concerned with the dispute.
Accordingly, the ministry decided to refer the file to the central inspection to take appropriate measures.
