Former President Michel Aoun‘s media office released a statement denying the claims made by the Nidaa Al-Watan newspaper.
It claimed that Michel Aoun had made a statement regarding the Mar Mikhail agreement, a document of understanding between the Free Patriotic Movement and Hezbollah.
The statement went on to criticize the newspaper for its “unprofessional and unethical” reporting methods.
It also clarified that the understanding between the two parties was not set in stone and could be reevaluated if necessary.
The statement also emphasized that Michel Aoun speaks directly and does not rely on anonymous sources.
