Lebanese designers are known for their exquisite fashion talents and designs that attract millions of fans around the world, and one of them is Andrea Wazen, who is accessorizing Hollywood A-listers.
Born in London and raised in Beirut, Andrea Wazen has become a famous fashion footwear designer after developing a great passion at a very young age for sketching and designing.
To fulfill her dreams and passion of becoming a designer, she moved to Paris, France, and studied at the Istituto Marangoni Italian fashion school, where she discovered a skill in shoe design.
In 2010, she relocated to London, where she trained with the likes of the British designer Rupert Sanderson and the French fashion designer Christian Louboutin.
In parallel, she attended the renowned Central Saint Martins School of Arts, where she took shoe design courses.
Majoring in two main fashion capitals boosted her eagerness to become a women’s shoe designer, and, in 2013, she created her namesake brand, Andrea Wazen, presenting high-quality and handmade shoes designed in Beirut and Italy.
The Andrea Wazen brand has now a wide presence in Europe and the U.S., rocking it in Hollywood and seen on A-listers, including Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Beyonce, Dua Lipa, and Sienna Miller.
Wazen’s collections showcase comfort and luxury with neon colors, strappy and ruffled heels, toned leather boots, and court shoes, as well as elegant, youthful, and trendy bags and purses.
The Lebanese designer also works to support young artisans in Lebanon. She was three-time featured on Forbes, among many other women from Lebanon and the MENA on the “Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands” in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
