Lebanese Dj Kayy just managed to get verified on Anghami for continuously dropping mixes since January 15th – and he’s still going nonstop!
Dj Kayy was amazingly able to achieve this feat despite the pandemic bogging down work for DJs around the world.
“When the government said there was going to be lockdown for like 3-4 weeks, I decided to make people’s life easier by asking them every day on my Insta Story [for] the artist of the day,” Dj Kayy explained.
Then, he would drop a mix of the most chosen artist each day. His consistency has put him on the virtual map among elite DJs. Lebanon has some of the world’s best DJs.
During the beginning of the pandemic, Dj Kayy dropped his “To The Moon” mix that now has over 105,000 streams in less than a year. It’s a mix of RnB, hip-hop, rap, Latino, Afrobeat, and French.
Right now, he has over 30 artist mixes and all of them got on the charts of Anghami.
He has also dropped a Lebanon mix called “From Lebanon To The World” that contains music only made by Lebanese artists, producers, singers, and rappers. It gained him a lot more recognition.
