Ideal for, but not limited to, journalism/communication students or fresh grads with a passion for real-time reporting and storytelling.
Must have excellent written English and Arabic (non-negotiable), social media skills, the ability to work fast under pressure, and, more importantly, the ability to distinguish between reliable, fake, and questionable news.
The position is remote but you need to be in Lebanon and relatively central (Beirut and Mount Lebanon ideally, but a little beyond that possible).
Duration is 3 months or more, depending on the hours dedicated to internships. For volunteer roles, it’s as long as you’d like to contribute.
This is a hands-on position, so if you’re looking for a passive role, this isn’t it. The internship is unpaid, but you may be prioritized for a paid role upon completion.
