We’re building a next-generation platform used by hundreds of thousands of users, with real-time content, modular mini-apps, and a growing ecosystem of products.
This is not a typical backend role. You’ll be working on systems that power feeds, real-time updates, subscriptions, and scalable infrastructure across multiple products.
What You’ll Work On
- Designing and building scalable backend systems for high-traffic products
- Powering real-time features (live feeds, notifications, activity updates)
- Building and maintaining APIs used across mobile and web apps
- Implementing background jobs and queue-based systems
- Optimizing performance, caching, and database queries
- Contributing to system architecture and long-term technical decisions
Tech Stack
- Node.js (TypeScript)
- MongoDB (but PostgreSQL experience is a major plus)
- Redis (queues, caching)
- WebSockets (real-time systems)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Strong understanding of system design and scalable architecture
- Experience building high-traffic or real-time applications
- Solid knowledge of databases, indexing, and performance optimization
- Experience with queues/background jobs (BullMQ, or similar)
- Ability to think beyond endpoints and design complete systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with social platforms, feeds, or content systems
- Familiarity with AI integrations or automation workflows
- Experience with subscriptions, payments, or access control systems

Remote, but you must be located in Lebanon. Working on an hourly basis. Hours are fully flexible as long as the work is getting done; we don’t mind if you’re more productive overnight. Possibility to become a full-time position long-term.
