The General Director of the Housing Bank, Antoine Habib, stated that the Solar Energy loan will be LBP 75 million with a 4.99% interest rate and for a duration of 30 years.
The loan targets Lebanese people here and abroad. They can qualify as long as they have a clean record.
The restoration loan is LBP 400 million, also with a 4.99% interest rate.
Habib explained that the Housing Bank made a deal with the Central Bank to support giving out Solar Energy loans.
However, the organization cannot replace the government, and the Housing Bank cannot cover all the Lebanese territory.
The General Director previously stated that Housing Loans will be available online to make it easier for clients to apply.
