Parents of victims from the August 4 Beirut Port explosion are drawing poignant parallels to the devastating events in Palestine.

These parents have taken to social media, urging for an immediate halt to the violence as the death toll in Palestine tragically surpasses 10,000, with over 4,000 being Palestinian children.

Among those speaking out are Paul Naggear, father of 3-year-old Alexandra Naggear; Sarah Copland, mother of 2-year-old Isaac; and Mireille Khoury, mother of 15-year-old Elias Khoury.

I saw my 3.5yo daughter killed in the #beirutblast. I saw her being ok, saying "mama", then have difficulties breathing, and go to eternal sleep. I saw the suffering of my life partner witnessing this. No child should suffer, the world should be ashamed. #CEASEFIRENOW https://t.co/cCcjnPYgN1

Their shared memories of the Beirut tragedy underscore their collective call for peace.
