Vet Clinics In Lebanon Opened To Help Injured People Following Beirut Explosion
Beirut's hospitals, understaffed and under-equipped, and already busy fighting the coronavirus, have found themselves in the face of a new health challenge: How to treat thousands of injuries caused by the Beirut blast ?
Many hospitals have been forced to turn away victims because they were completely full.
Other hospitals were even affected by the explosion. The new Saint George hospital was completely destroyed.

Along with the great human loss, the loss of loving pets is hard to bear. Many pets were injured from the blast as were their owners.
Vets in Beirut, Jounieh, and even in Jbeil opened up to treat pets and pet owners, and also welcomed anyone who needed a quick stitch or a minor injury.
