Lebanese-American Businessman Donates 50,000 Vaccines To The Lebanese Army
Hailing from a southern town in the Jezzine District, Lebanese-American businessman Charlie Hanna has taken on a personal initiative to support the Lebanese Army in the face of the pandemic.
Despite being obligated to maintain its duties, the Lebanese Army is currently excluded from the first stage of the national vaccination plan. This inspired this Lebanese businessman to step in.
So far, he has secured 50,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for the army and supplied around 20,000 doses for security forces from Jezzine.
A well-known name in the food industry in North-America, Charlie Hanna left everything behind and returned to Lebanon 4 years ago to be closer to his family, his town, and his country.
He has since become an active member of Jezzine, especially during the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. He owes his patriotism to his father, Consul Ibrahim Hanna.
