Small Bomb Exploded In The Garden Of The Lebanese Public Works Minister

A small bomb exploded outside the home of Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Ali Hamieh , in the Baalbek town of Taraya on Thursday.

The explosion occurred at about two o’clock in the morning. No injuries or damage were reported.

In a statement, the Minister’s press office said that the bomb was attached to electrical wires and placed in the house’s garden.

However, security sources said that the explosion was caused by a stun grenade that was thrown under a tree close to the house.
