9 celebrities were dressed by Lebanese designers at the Oscars 2019
The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, is a set of awards for artistic and technical merit in the film industry. It is given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to recognize excellence in cinematic achievements as assessed by the Academy's voting membership.
This year, our beloved Lebanese movie 'Capernaum' directed by the talented Nadine Labaki was a nominee in the foreign language category.
Unfortunately, 'Capernaum' wasn't the winner, but the nomination alone is something to be proud of.
Another presence for Lebanon at the Oscars' Ceremony 2019 was the numerous gowns worn by international celebrities, carefully created by Lebanese designers.
