After six consecutive wins, the Lebanese women’s volleyball team won the West Asian Volleyball Championship’s title by defeating its Jordanian counterpart (3-0) in a brilliant performance on Wednesday evening.
The captain of the Lebanese national team, Mira Adra, received the trophy from the President of the Jordan Volleyball Federation, Princess Ayah bint Faisal.
Among the 9 other teams participating, the Lebanese national team players succeeded in shining out, receiving gold medals.
The Jordanian national team players received silver medals, and the UAE team players received bronze medals in a special festive atmosphere.
The Lebanese delegation will arrive in Lebanon on Thursday afternoon, and a reception will be held for it in honor of their win.
