Multiple rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into Israel on Wednesday afternoon.
The rockets fell in an open area close to the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona, near the border with Lebanon, according to preliminary information.
Local media has reported that two rockets were fired from Lebanon.
The Israeli military, on the other hand, stated that sirens were activated in at least three Israeli settlements near the border, pointing at the possibility that three rockets were launched from Lebanese territory.
The military has not reported any casualties or material damage, as of the time of writing.
The military has returned fire at the site where the rockets were launched, according to Israeli media.
Israeli settlers were reportedly instructed to enter underground shelters following the incident.
