A man armed with a rifle and gasoline is holding employees and clients hostage at the Federal Bank of Lebanon in the Hamra district of Beirut.
The man allegedly threatened to set himself on fire and kill everyone in the bank if the $209,000 he had deposited in the bank were not returned.
According to Al-Jadeed, two shots were fired.
