    Lebanon Is Reinstating Night Curfew And Odd/Even License Plate Rule

    Lebanon’s just announced that the upcoming 14-day lockdown will include a nightly curfew and driving restrictions.

    In a repeated attempt to crash down the spike in coronavirus infections, Lebanon will be back under a total lockdown as of Saturday, November 14th. and until the end of the month. as announced two days ago.

    Now, the lockdown will also include a nightly curfew beginning as soon as 5 p.m. until 5 a.m of the next day. In addition, Lebanon is implementing the odd/even license plate rule, restricting people from moving around.

    People whose car license plates end with an even number are only allowed to drive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while those with license plates that end with an odd number can drive on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

    On Sundays, driving is not allowed at all.

    -Supermarkets + restaurant delivery operating from 5am-5pm

    – Gyms/malls/restaurants/cafes to close entirely

    The airport will remain open and travelers to and from it are exempted from the curfew.

    Bakeries may stay open for 24 hours, but factories, banks, supermarkets, and restaurants (deliveries only) can only operate from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    Moreover, cafes, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, gyms, pools, beaches, etc. are all forced to close down entirely throughout the lockdown.
