Fadi El-Khatib, also known as The Lebanese Tiger, is a professional basketball player deemed as one of the best players in the Asia region.
He was a member of Lebanon’s National Basketball Team and plays for Champville SC in the Lebanese Basketball League.
The National Team participated in many world championships like the 2002 FIBA Worl Championship in Indianapolis (US), the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan, and the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Turkey.
In 2017, Fadi El-Khatib started playing for Champville SC after his retirement from the National Team, and now, three years later, his son is walking in his footsteps!
The Lebanese basketball star just recently renewed his contract with Champville. This time, however, he will be joined by his 14-year-old son Jihad El-Khatib.
The father and son duo playing together on the same team is a first in the history of Basketball in Lebanon, and excitement is already building up to seeing them teaming up!
