The Australian-Lebanese cook Rose Adam is back to win five years after her first experience on MasterChef Australia.

Rose Adam participated in the seventh series of the competitive cooking game show but did not win. However, she didn’t walk away without making the best of her experience on the show.

She now co-owns her own family-run cafe, The Middle Store in Adelaide, South Australia, with a menu inspired by her Lebanese heritage.

The twelfth series of MasterChef Australia premiered on April 13th under the theme Back To Win. Both Rose Adam and Reynold Poernomo from the seventh series are competing in it for the win.

The new series Back To Win recalls contestants from previous seasons to try again and compete against each other for the title.

“I’m so excited to be back to win, get a chance to showcase Lebanese food in a new light, and hopefully take out the trophy!” She told The961.

“The challenge of coming back was too hard to say no, and it’s also a very wild ride and why wouldn’t you want to have a crack at that again!”

This won’t be the first time a Lebanese plays hard to win at MasterChef Australia.

Last year, Larissa Takchi, a young Lebanese born and raised in Australia won the 2019 title, becoming known as the youngest ever to participate and to win on MasterChef Australia. She was 22 years old.
