Creating and producing art is one thing people of the digital era excel in. So how can they continue sparking creativity during quarantine? Here’s an example of creative work, right here in Lebanon.
Lebanese photographer and creative director Fouad Tadros began a series of quarantine photoshoots, which he’s doing from home.
Fouad launched this project with models through the internet since everyone is on lockdown to keep morale high and creativity flowing and prove that work can still be done if there’s a will.
His models overseas connect with him online through Facetime, Skype, or any other platform, and pose as he takes screenshots. The results are pretty impressive!
On Instagram, he writes, “I was thinking how I’m always in need of constantly stimulating my mind, so I got together with some friends abroad to connect us in this difficult time that we are collectively going through.”
“The purpose of it is to be creative and not [let] the situation stop you from being productive, because creativity has no limits,” Fouad tells The961.
Fouad, who was supposed to be in Europe at this time doing fashion shoots, says, “It feels good to still be able to do it even if it [is] on a different scale and even if I’m not using my professional camera. I can still click and take images, and feel productive and creative.”
Fouad has already done shoots with models (friends of his) from Germany, Russia, and even from Beirut. He says he will be posting new pictures every day.
