The report also revealed that the new cases were confirmed to be coronavirus-positive out of 490 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

Moreover, “no new deaths have been recorded [today], and the number of deaths related to the virus, to date, has settled to twelve.”

The number of total recoveries has risen to 37 on the same date. Taking the latest updates into account, the total of active cases is now 430, 7 of which are considered severe.

Furthermore, as of Wednesday, 1,174 people are in quarantine in the Lebanese hospitals accredited by the Health Ministry.

In its coronavirus report, the ministry continues to stress the importance of committing to the government’s general mobilization guidelines and self-isolation.
