Chloe Middleton of Buckinghamshire has passed away on March 21st, making her the youngest person in the UK to die from contracting the virus. She is the youngest person without evident health problems to die of the coronavirus.
“To all the people out there that thinks it’s just a virus, please think again,” the girl’s mother announced on Facebook. “Speaking from personal experience, this so-called virus has taken the life of my 21-year-old daughter.”
Her family has confirmed that she did not have any health problems before contracting the virus.
Contrary to what many believe, it is not just the elderly who are vulnerable to the coronavirus.
The latest data from the health ministry, as of the time of writing, indicates that 22% of the affected are between 20 and 29 years old, which makes it the biggest group affected, followed by 18% between 30 and 39 years old.
These are uncertain times, but what is certain is that everyone needs to start taking the pandemic seriously.
