    10 Lebanese DJs You Need To Check Out This Summer

    To those unaware, Lebanon has some of the best DJs in the world. Even when abroad, in the most obscure locations, you can count on the fact that one of our own is behind a dimly lit DJ booth playing a unique blend of sounds.

    By combining originality and creativity, our sound artists will make sure that the party won’t stop. Here is a list of DJs to look out for when going out this summer in Lebanon:

    1. Ziad Moukarzel

    From hole-in-the-wall bars to massive raves, Moukarzel has been on the DJing scene in Beirut for ages now.

    Currently, alongside DJing and making music, he is conducting workshops for Lebanese youth at Beirut Summer School. 

    2. Rolbac

    Most recently performing at the Aegis Festival a few weeks ago, Rolbac has become a DJ reshaping the Middle Eastern music scene.

    Merging his musical upbringing with his unique sound, Rolbac crystallizes his ideas into captivating audio.

    Making his DJ debut at the young age of 15 on a radio show, DJ Mini-B and his music have grown up together in Beirut throughout the years.

    He also creates his own music – most notably, his song “The Globe.”

    4. Tala Mortada

    As another co-founder of Factory People, Tala Mortada is also breaking boundaries in the Beirut music scene.

    She is also the creative director of a creative studio called Clap Clap which creates unique videos and ads for all music-related needs.

    Another prominent woman in a male-dominated industry is Lilane Chela.

    Mainly dabbling in electronic music, this Lebanese DJ’s most recent album, ‘Anatomy of a Jerk,’ certainly puts her as one of the main contenders as one of the most unique artists on the scene.

    Performing in venues worldwide, the DJ always performs all around Lebanon – from Almaza Bay to the opening of Beirut House Community.
