According to the National News Agency, Jbeil and its neighboring areas have been experiencing a significant internet outage since yesterday evening.
The local community is calling on the Ministry of Telecommunications and mobile network providers to quickly address and repair the faults that are adversely affecting the daily routines of both professionals and students.
Noting that back in August, Lebanon experienced a dramatic surge in internet costs, with Ogero, the national telecommunications provider, announcing a 700% increase in internet prices.
That steep increase came at a critical time when dependable and affordable internet is vital for remote work, education, and communication in Lebanon.
