    There’s A Free Film Festival You Can Attend This Week In Sidon

    The Brazilian Film Festival is coming to the Ishbilia Theatre in Sidon for two days thanks to the Brazilian Embassy, in collaboration with the Metropolis Cinema.

    The first half of the 6th Brazilian Film Festival took place from July 10 to 14 at the Caracalla Dance Theater in Beirut. The festival will continue screening movies on July 20 and 21.

    The festival showcases a range of highly regarded Brazilian films from the past few years, representing diverse genres and exploring various facets of Brazilian society, history, and politics.

    The film festival is one of the many things you can do in Sidon this summer!

    If you are a football fan, you must watch the remarkable journey of Pele and the legendary player’s rise to greatness. From a young boy to a 17-year-old who scored the winning goal in Brazil’s first-ever World Cup victory in 1958, the movie focuses on the impoverished youth in Brazil and the disadvantages Pele faced throughout his life.

    Screening at 7 pm at Ishbilia Theatre and Art Hub.

    A fatherless young boy departs from his village and journeys into a fantastical realm dominated by animalistic machines and peculiar creatures. This exceptional animated movie depicts the contemporary world’s challenges from a child’s perspective.
