Lebanon’s Ministry of Finance announced that, starting January 4th, 2023, it will suspend the stamps of 1,000 LL, 5,000 LL, and 10,000LL printed before and including 2021.
The Ministry of Finance stated that this decision will be implemented to prevent any monopolies or manipulation on the black market, and stressed that it is necessary to regularize the selling of stamps through authorized offices in Beirut.
