Lebanese model Dagher was crowned Miss Europe Global in Los Angeles, an annual election including 54 participants from all over the world.
Dagher’s first outfit of the competition was a dress comprised of fiery colors to commemorate the 2020 Beirut Port Explosion. For the semi-final, she donned a traditional Lebanese costume while displaying images of Beirut’s history and culture.
At being crowned Miss Europe Global, Dagher raised the Lebanese flag that was given to her by a member of the audience.
Dagher shared a post on Instagram where she is wearing the crown and holding the Lebanese flag, stating, “What am I without my country! Every moment I lived in Lebanon, bitter and sweet shaped me, and I will not take a crown without raising my flag, my pride.”
After completing her studies at Alba University in Lebanon, Dagher moved to the United States to study and work. By that, she stands as an inspiration to the youth in Lebanon that anything is possible with the right attitude, dedication, and confidence.
