The Lebanese dance group, Mayyas Group, scored another hit on the third night of America’s Got Talent (AGT) – season 17 auditions.
The all-female and the first Lebanese dance team to make it on AGT hit the stage with stunning and out-of-this-world choreography.
After the hypnotizing performance ended, the Lebanese group, formed by choreographer Nadim Cherfan, got positive and promising responses from the judges: Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, and Sofia Vergara.
The Colombian-American actress, Vergara, did not hesitate to show support, as she expressed that “there are no words to explain to you what we were feeling over here […] It was the most beautiful, creative dancing I’ve ever seen.”
Model Heidi Klum also thanked the group for showing a glimpse of Lebanese culture.
Even Simon Cowell, the English TV personality known to be “difficult and hard to satisfy”, said that this was the best dance act they have seen, and they [the judges] were honored to have the group perform.
However, Sofia Vergara was the most stunned as she slammed the Golden Buzzer and showered the group with tears of joy.
According to Entertainment Tonight (ET), Mayyas Group will move on to the live rounds in Hollywood to compete against other acts.
