FPM MP Elias Bou Saab was just elected by the Lebanese parliament with 65 votes – the bare minimum needed to secure the position.
The results are as followed:

One of the canceled votes was a result of an incorrectly written name; “Michel Skaff.”
Contrary to the parliamentary speaker election, more voted against the Berri-FPM duo and in favor of the Lebanese Forces MP Ghassan Skaff.
