The American reality TV series Say Yes to the Dress has been such a massive success since 2007 that it has been picked up by other world countries, and now the Middle East will have its own.
For those who have, somehow, missed that exciting American series, Say Yes to the Dress is all about real bride-to-be finding the perfect bridal wedding gown, with the not-little-overwhelming involvement of family and friends.
The bridal store’s salespeople and managers are actively involved to help the bride overcome the personal challenges that often include body image concerns, weight, insecurity, and budget.

StarzPlay is now launching the Middle-Eastern version of Say Yes to the Dress in partnership with Discovery and it will be hosted by the Lebanese celebrity stylist Khalil Zein in the United Arab Emirates.
Khalil Zein is well-known across the MENA region for styling famous artists, including Haifa Wehbe, Rahma Riad, Nancy Ajram, Maya Diab, and Nadine Nassib Njeim.
Say Yes to the Dress – Arabia series will not only give brides in the Middle East an opportunity to find their perfect wedding dress, but it will also give the audience fascinating and entertaining episodes that are enlightening when it comes to deciding on a perfect dress for that special D-Day.
Khalil Zein shared his excitement on his Instagram: “I’m very excited to be in Dubai for the press launch for Say Yes To The Dress Arabia. I’m honored to be the host of the show and to help so many brides find their dream wedding dress! “
The series will be available to stream from February 11th on StarzPlay, with two episodes released on a weekly basis.
The show will take place at Hazar Haute Couture in Dubai, which houses a collection of bridal dresses.
It will feature 20 brides from different cultural backgrounds, aged from 23 to 50, all searching for their dream wedding dress.
The launch will mark the 25th spin-off of the series.
The original Say Yes to the Dress series launched in the United States in 2007 and has inspired numerous local spin-offs as well as international versions of the show.
