The severe crisis that Lebanon is hardly bearing has led The961 to meet with specialists from different fields and discuss the impact on them. Among them is Dr. Faysal El-Kak, a physician at AUB who is specialized in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. El-Kak works as well at the AUB Medical Center (AUBMC), which makes him highly informed about the different consequences of the economic collapse that the country is going through.
In this video taken during our interview with him, Dr. El-Kak explains, through different levels of roles in the sector, how people are being affected: from civilians and nurses to physicians like himself.
He also gives his view on what is expected in the future.
