The popular Lebanese restaurant Em Sherif recently announced that it will be opening a London branch at Harrods in London, UK. This is the latest addition to its many locations, including Beirut, Kuwait, Qatar, Syria, and soon in Oman.
Currently, Em Sherif’s presence flows to more than 10 countries. This is because Em Sherif Café (its café concept operated by the same owners) is set up across the region, covering Lebanon, Dubai, KSA, Cairo, Kuwait, and more.
Additionally, the restaurant says it has agreements signed to open in Dubai, Baghdad, Egypt, Bahrain, and Abidjan with potential expansion to Paris, Turkey, Riyadh, and Dammam.
Em Sherif is the same defiant business that decided to stop paying tax to the Lebanese government and opted for donating the tax to non-governmental organizations in Lebanon in the wake of the Beirut blast.
