Israeli soldiers opened fire at shepherds in southern Lebanon, the National News Agency (NNA) reported on Tuesday.
The shepherds had been grazing their animals in the plains of Marjayoun on Tuesday afternoon when they were shot at by Israeli military personnel. No casualties have been reported as of the time of writing.
This is one of several Israeli border activities and violations recorded over the past few days.
On Monday afternoon, the NNA reported that a group of 13 Israeli soldiers, accompanied by police dogs, had crossed the technical fence in the Lebanese border village of Adaisseh in southern Lebanon and conducted a surveillance operation.
Sometime later, people in the border villages of Aarqoub and Hasbaya reported hearing sounds of explosions coming from the Shebaa Farms.
The sounds were reportedly the result of Israeli military exercises that took place as an unmanned aerial vehicle overflew the occupied farms.
A day prior, on Sunday afternoon, the Lebanese Army detailed in a statement several violations of Lebanese territorial waters by Israeli forces.
The Army said that 3 Israeli gunboats had entered Lebanese waters off the area of Ras Al-Naqoura within 35 minutes, between 3 PM and 3:35 PM, on the same day, firing flares over the said area.
A similar incident was also reported by the Lebanese Army on Saturday night. The Army said on Sunday that it was following up these violations in coordination with UNIFIL.
