106 years ago today, the RMS Titanic struck an iceberg and sank. The shipwreck killed more than 1,500 people, among them over 100 Lebanese.
Iyam El Lira created the Lebanese version of My Heart Will Go On, which is the theme song of Titanic the movie.
The band dedicates this music to “all those who lost their lives on the Titanic, all those who lost their loved ones on that day, and all those who have lost and may still lose!”
Iyam El Lira brings back the glory of iconic Lebanese songs by adding a modern touch to them.
The band also adds an oriental feel to international songs such as Game of Thrones’ theme music and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town!
