The Cedar tree is Lebanon’s national symbol. It represents strength and longevity. The Phoenicians exported Cedar woods to countries in the region.

In fact, King Solomon used cedar trees to build his temple in Jerusalem.

After centuries of persistent deforestation, the green areas in Lebanon were reduced. These nature reserves are doing their best to protect cedar trees.
