The Sursock Museum is one of the most renowned museums in Lebanon. It is the home of a large contemporary art collection which opened in 1961.

Location: former Green Line Beit Beirut, also known as The Yellow House or Barakat Building.
It’s an authentic Lebanese apartment building that was affected by the civil war. It is now a museum that commemorates the Lebanese Civil War.

Mim Museum is one of the world’s most important private collection of minerals. It exhibits more than 1,800 minerals!

Location: American University of Beirut.
This museum is one of the oldest in the region!
#6 Villa Audi Mosaic Museum
Location: Achrafieh.
It’s a museum and an art gallery at the same time! Villa Audi houses mosaics from around the word!
#7 Museum of Lebanese Prehistory
Location: University of Saint Joseph.
The museum displays a collection of animal and human bones, pottery, tools, etc. The items featured were recovered in the 19th century.
#8 Banque Du Liban Museum
Location: Sanayeh, Beirut.
The BDL Museum displays all the banknotes and coins that have been issued by the Central Bank of Lebanon.
#9 Robert Mouawad Private Museum
Location: Zokak El Blat.
The palace that was turned into a museum features objects of value such as ancient mosaics, jars, pottery, jewelry, precious stones, etc. You can also find there a rare collection of books.
