On Wednesday, the Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri gave instructions to the Lebanese Army to open the access to Nejmeh Square again for pedestrians. The soldiers already started lifting the barriers in the area. Security measures were implemented for a long time in Nejmeh Square to secure demonstrations and to protect government officials from attacks.
