TikToker Addison Rae has recently been seen sporting heels made by Lebanese footwear designer Andrea Wazen.
Rae, who has over 74 million fans on TikTok and rose to fame on the app by dancing, became one of the most followed TikTok stars in the world.
It’s not the first time the internet celebrity was seen rocking Andrea Wazen’s designs. In fact, the designs of Beirut-based Andrea Wazen have caught the eye of celebrities like Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Emma Roberts, Scarlett Johansson, Kylie Jenner, and many more.
Andrea Wazen happens to also be the sister of Lebanese Instagram lifestyle influencer and lifestyle eyewear brand owner, Karen Wazen.
Rae has also been spotted wearing sunglasses by Karen Wazen Eyewear.
Both Andrea and Karen Wazen made it to Forbes’ list of “Women Behind Middle Eastern Brands 2020” that featured 12 Lebanese women who are managing to survive the pandemic. They both sustain their brands and push the boundaries despite the hardships.
For instance, Andrea Wazen was one of many Lebanese designers whose stores, workshops, and homes were brought down by the August 4 Beirut blast.
Luckily, they have been able to bounce back. Getting promoted by popular celebrities just adds to the progress!
