    Michelin-star chef in Beirut!

The famous French chef Alain Ducasse will open a restaurant in the Lebanese capital. He holds 21 Michelin stars. Also, he is the first chef to own three different restaurants that have three stars each. In fact, Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants who serve excellence. It is a prestigious award in the world of cuisine. A restaurant can attain a maximum of three stars. The world-class chef will open an upscale French restaurant and a chocolate boutique in the new wing of Le Gray Hotel. The latter is located in the heart of Beirut. The opening date has not been set yet. In 2004, Ducasse opened a restaurant in Beirut in partnership with Patchi. Located in Downtown Beirut, Le Tamaris offered dessert. However, it closed down. In fact, this is Ducasse’s second restaurant in the Middle East. The other one, which is called Idam, is located in the Museum of Islamic Arts in Doha.
