The company will make the first Middle Eastern production, which will be a stand-up comedy with the famous Lebanese comedian Adel Karam. The show, which hasn’t been named yet, is expected to launch in 2018.
However, what we know is that Adel Karam will tackle social issues of the Middle East with his great sense of humor. He is more than excited to be a part of this project since it is a privilege to stare in Netflix’s first Middle Eastern production.
The Vice President of International Original Series at Netflix mentioned that he couldn’t wait to introduce Karam to the international audience. This Lebanese actor is not only popular for being a comedian.
In fact, he starred in many famous Lebanese movies where he excelled at playing serious roles. One of these films is “The Insult” that tops the box office in Lebanon!
