This summer has been a prosperous season for the Lebanese tourism! Beirut – Rafic Hariri International Airport broke its own record. 975,000 people traveled to and from Beirut Airport last month! This is the highest number of visitors in the airport’s history! The Director General of Civil Aviation Mohammad Chehab said that this is a healthy number which indicates that people trust Lebanon more and more.

This record also explains the increase in the hotel occupancy in Lebanon for summer 2017. Comparing to the same period last year, the

. Since there is a lot of demand, mainly from expats living in Dubai, the average price for a hotel room increased by 14%, reaching 145$. The revenue per available room (RevPar) increased by 19.3% because the average daily rate (ADR) and the occupancy both increased by 6.6%.
