Amandine Petit was crowned Miss France 2021 in a dazzling gown by Lebanese designer Ziad Nakad, and she looked absolutely breathtaking.
The ceremony took place on December 19th to mark the pageant centenary. Petit will go on to represent France in the Miss World 2021 and Miss Universe competitions.
Ziad Nakad, a prominent name in the firmament of the world fashion, actually dressed up the 5 finalists competing for the crown of Miss France 2021.
Nakad also dressed up as Miss France 2020, Clemence Botino, for that election show in which she would later hand over her crown. Botino was queenly stunning in a most exquisite gown by our Lebanese designer.
Based in Lebanon, and boasting some 1 million followers on Instagram, Ziad Nakad is a fashion design reference in shows in Lebanon, Europe, the Middle East, the Arab Gulf, and even in Asia, and the Americas.
He started his work in fashion from a very young age, designing eccentric clothes for his family.
He then began to work with many famous fashion designers before his big break in 1997 when he was invited to take part in the Beirut International Fashion Show for Couture.
There, he dressed up super models like Jennifer Driver and Karen Mudler.
Afterward, his career took off with several fashion shows across Europe, becoming a sought-after fashion name.
Nakad creates dresses in several styles, including Bridal and Couture, with a “dramatic flair and timeless femininity,” according to him.
It earned him to be recognized for his ability to reveal the feminine side of every woman he designs for.
